Michael Gasbarro, ACNP

Michael Gasbarro is an actively practicing Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in Chandler, AZ with over 13 years of nursing experience. Michael currently works closely with adult patients of all ages in medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care and even obstetric units as an Internal Medicine NP to diagnose and treat many acute and chronic conditions.

Michael has a lifelong passion towards fitness and healthy nutrition that was sparked after his personal struggles with being overweight as an adolescent. He has obtained his Obesity Management Certification with hopes of helping his fellow Arizonans live long, happy lives. Michael has started Fresh Start Weight Loss with this goal in mind and strives to create personalized weight management care plans that help people meet their goals, live healthier lives and reduce risk or severity of obesity-related conditions such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, among others.

Outside of his work life Michael is happily married to his wife who is a Nurse Educator. He enjoys traveling to other countries and experiencing cultures from around the world. He loves relaxing by listening to vinyl records and reading books. When weather permits, he is fond of hiking and kayaking and recently had the pleasure of hiking to Havasupai Falls. Michael and his wife recently welcomed their first child into this world and could not be happier.
